Located next to a busy Asian supermarket. I went on a Friday morning, and the service was great! The food came out super quickly after ordering, and they were really spot on for me. The rolls were wrapped nicely, and the broken rice plate had the biggest portions I've gotten from a Vietnamese restaurant. Would recommend if you were craving for some grilled/ fried food. Park at the supermarket lot and walk to the restaurant located on the side.

The dishes were overall tasty and came in generous portions, especially the pho. Decent prices, too.

We enjoyed the broken rice dishes; the grilled pork that came with it had a nice charred flavour and reminded us of Chinese pork jerky. We chose beef when we paid another visit, but I think the pork had better flavour.

The coffee was good, but strong. If you’re not used to caffeine, don’t expect to sleep!

Some dishes were a hit and miss. The rice cake appetiser with dried shrimp was quite bland and the broken rice special combo contained a lot of fish cake (possibly deep fried) and sausage type items, which didn’t suit our taste. It was still good, but I think we will stick to the grilled meat next time.

Regardless, good food. Happy to come again.

I got the grilled chicken and broken rice dish, and it was great. Food came out in about 5 minutes after ordering. It was tasty and fulfilling. Bathrooms were clean.

Felt like we were transported to Vietnam! They renovated the entire restaurant and it’s kept pretty clean everywhere I looked.

All the staff were soooo genuinely friendly, kind, and very friendly not only to customers, but also with each other. They seemed to be having a good time despite how busy they were.

The foods were… just… !!! The hen with red rice came with the clear broth pork soup and the entire hen! The portion size was so big for the price and every bite, delicious!! Made soup with the leftover chicken and it was so good. Found a piece of a peppercorn and a clove in the chicken?

The charbroiled pork dish was wholesome and the meatball spring rolls was sooo good!

Can’t wait to go back to this jewel of San Gabriel ?

Awesome food, pretty efficient and friendly service. The place is busy during dinner time, but it's spacious enough that we didn't feel on top of each other.

Our friends recommended this place. Broken rice is their signature dish here. I tried their bun rieu, and it wasn't too bad. I was craving it for the whole week. Ordered Bun Bo Hue as well, but it was just ok, not too crazy about it. Bánh hỏi nem nướng tàu hủ ky ( vermicelli with tofu skin and pork) was pretty good. Service was quick. Nice staff. Clean. I'm not sure why the AC wasn't turned on, though, and the door was open. I was so hot. But overall, I was happy with the food. Got the 3 colored (chè 3 màu) was ok. I didn't like it that much since they used green jello to substitute for the green tapioca strings (bánh lọt). Rice dish with chicken was really good. ? They give you some broth with 1 piece of pork rib to start out before bringing your entrees, which I thought was nice

The place recently reopened for dine-in experience. It had also changed ownership and remodeled the interior. It is now called KING COM TAM. The food has gotten much better, with a much larger menu to choose from. The broken rice and noodle dishes are really good. #25, #45, and #49 are their most popular rice dishes. Give them a try the next time you're there.
